Margaret's images are used for our website and social media pages. Of course, if you've ever brought your camera out here, you are more than welcome to share your work with us. High-quality email submissions are preferred. We will gladly credit you in everything we post!

If you are having an event at the farm, you are welcome to hire our photographer to capture all your memories from birthday parties to weddings. Email us for rates. Have another photographer you prefer? That is absolutely fine. We work with lots of great people at the farm! Not sure who to hire? We are happy to offer you some recommendations of excellent artists in the area. If you simply need some quick family photos or updated portraits, Margaret can handle that, too in half-hour or 1-hour sessions. Find out more info on her website by clicking the button below.

Outside Photographers
Preparing to shoot a wedding or other engagement at the farm and need a second shooter? You can hire Margaret should you need an assistant. Advanced notice is preferred, but if your regular assistant is suddenly unable to work, Margaret is likely available to help.
Interested in bringing your clients out here? Please email us to reserve your time slot. We charge a fee of $40 to access the property per regular (family or couple) photo session. For mini-sessions, the fee is $20 per session. This helps us maintain the grounds and keep everything looking picture perfect. In addition to some truly gorgeous and unique backdrops, you and your clients will have access to our restroom and changing facilities. All we ask is that you turn off the lights!

Unlike other locations, we do not enforce a strict time limit on your sessions because there is plenty of space for photographers to work around each other and still get the shots they need. However, venue events always take priority. If we must reschedule your session, we will give you as much notice as possible. Preferring payment from the photographer, you do not need to pay us until the day you visit. Venmo (@historichopkinsfarm) is the easiest payment method, but we also accept cash or check..

If this is your first time to the farm, schedule your time slot 30 minutes before your clients arrive so we can give you a brief tour of the areas accessible to you. When you arrive at the farm, follow the directions to event parking where we will meet you.

Yes, we are dog friendly! Please let us know if you plan to bring them so we can make sure our pups are inside. We ask that you keep your furry friends lleashed at all times and pick up any presents they might leave behind. Dogs are not allowed inside any buildings or enclosures containing livestock.

Sunday and weekday evenings tend to have more availability. If it rains, you can cancel your session or reschedule.
